I have a spider in my skateboard ramp in the corner that made me jump as Thew (lol) was made quiet a long time ago, I can not describe. And as it was in the corner, it was dark to see.

You can identify that normally lead to a spider's web, so its seems. If you had an hourglass on the belly, then it was probably a black widow.
