If you live and work in North Carolina interested in ships, is likely to live close to many locations. Explore the sites in your area and find what you are looking for. Talk to people in the garden and have a lot of inside information on the boats. In ports, which are very close and know some people who are living on their boats in the marina - I usually know what's in the region. Check bulletin boards at ports, shipyards and marine equipment stores.
There are many sites that list boats for sale. These are just a few, but I would be with the local population and local information. This really is not hard to find and buy an old boat that needs to be repaired. Good luck and have fun when you have to find updates.
